Hexagon crochet motifs are very versatile as well as popular. They can be connected in any number of ways to make anything from coasters to vests to bedspreads.
Hexagon crochet motifs can be used in so many ways because their six sides can be connected to each other so easily. They can also be combined with squares for a different look altogether. Experiment with color to make an item even more personalized.
Any yarn, any gauge, and any hooks are fine. In order to get an acceptable size, work up a sample motif before planning to buy large quantities of yarn or making out final measure.
